Harvard Intercollegiate Model United Nations

About Us

Harvard Intercollegiate Model United Nations, or as we call it ICMUN, is a vibrant, tight-knit community where students from every discipline come together to practice international diplomacy, policy analysis, and leadership but also make a community that lasts a lifetime. Our organization provides a unique platform for members to hone negotiation and public-speaking skills, engage in rigorous debate, and collaborate with peers who are passionate about global impact.

Members can join the travel team where we compete all across North America or staff at conferences for both high school and college students across nine countries. We combine competitive excellence with a supportive culture where experienced delegates mentor newcomers, team travels and bonds together, and long-lasting friendships form through shared preparation and conference experiences.

Rooted in Harvard’s tradition of academic rigor and global engagement, ICMUN fosters innovative thinking, civic responsibility, and practical skills that prepare students to address real-world challenges and lead in international affairs.
